Help Keep Dogs and Cats Safe — Every Day

Your support helps provide food, medical care, and safe shelter for rescued dogs and cats in our care every day.Monthly support helps us plan ahead and sustain food, medicine, and emergency care throughout the year.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Alongside our wider rescue work, we care for more than 2,200 rescued dogs and cats who call our sanctuary home. Among them are 500 disabled dogs who need lifelong support. Our teams also provide daily feeding for around 500 street animals in the surrounding community.Caring for animals at this scale is a long-term commitment. Reliable monthly support allows us to plan ahead, maintain essential food and medical supplies, and continue providing consistent care and protection every day.

vet applying medical grade manuka honey to a wound on a dog

🍯 We’re almost out of one of the few things that truly saves lives

Medical-grade Manuka honey isn’t just a treatment — it’s often the turning point between life and death for the severely injured animals we rescue. Its powerful antibacterial and healing properties help close deep wounds, prevent infection, reduce pain, and allow fragile bodies to regenerate. We have watched it bring animals back from the edge when nothing else would. But our supply is now critically low.Every day, animals arrive needing emergency care… and every day, our stock gets smaller. If you can, please help us replenish this essential lifeline. If you are in the UK you can send these items directly to our charity shop:
99 Station Road, Chingford, London E4 7BU
If you are visiting the sanctuary and want to bring some of these jars or tubes of medical grade honey with you they will be very gratefully received.it is crucial to verify the authenticity and grade of the honey by checking for the UMF™ or MGO rating on the packaging. Look for high UMF™ ratings (e.g., 15+, 20+) or MGO equivalents (e.g., 510+, 820+) for wound care, burns, and skin issues. These ratings indicate the honey's antibacterial potency.

The following links take you to Amazon UK but you will be able to purchase medical grade manuka honey from other suppliers as well.

IN SRI LANKA

If you are based in Sri Lanka, medical-grade manuka honey can be found in specialized stores that import it, but it is crucial to verify its authenticity and grade by checking for the UMF™ or MGO rating on the packaging (as explained above).
